Han Flags

Hey homo sapiens! How are you? I’m good. Went to Six Flags yesterday and it was da bomb!!! Georgia Tech will actually book the whole theme park. Yes! The WHOLE theme park once a year. We only have to pay a nominal fee of 12 USD compared to the normal 40. As you all know, I’m a thrill-seeker and wouldn’t let this opportunity go even if my life was on the line. You can check the theme park out at www.sixflags.com/parks/overgeorgia. I would have to say the best ride there was DejaVu. =) We were waiting in line for about an hour when all of a sudden we heard this loud not-suppose-to-happen clank. The brakes on the ride failed and the students-filled-coaster was left on the tracks for 10 mins. So the operators then made an announcement that they don’t know how long it will take to repair the ride. Most of the people who waited eagerly for 30 mins or so left but Ding and me waited for them to repair it. Ha ha ha…crazy it might sound to some after what just happened, but we’re risk-takers and it was a golden opportunity to try our luck. After about 20 mins, the ride was reopened and we sat on it. After all the ARGHs and SHITs, we left the ride without a tinge of regret. It was well worth it. =)

On a different note, I have a roommate named Nah Han Siang. He is not someone you would call normal. I know I’m being mean but it’s the universal truth. Ask all my friends. What he does is… he will start revision the moment he reaches home and then sleep at 10 or so. After that, he will wake up at 12 am to study again. And then sleep after an hour or so and the cycle goes on. DAMN! I can’t imagine me in his shoes. It must hurt so badly blisters would form the moment I step into them. Anyways, he has this ‘thing’ about sleeping on the couch. His reasoning (one which I can’t comprehend) is that it is easier for him to wake up an hour or so later to continue revising. =) I wonder which school of thought he subscribes to. So what Mr. Meanie Edgar here did is… he took a picture of Nah’s sleeping position every night. I’m surprised that there are so many ways you can sleep on the couch. He sure is creative as he is hardworking.

Knock yourselves out!

Position 1

The paper over his face is probably to reduce the glare from the light in his room. I’ll name this the Chinese-Women-Covering-Face-With-Paper-Fan Position.

Position 2

Emergency-On-Aeroplane Position

Position 3

This is the I’m-So-Yau-Yeng Position

This is the Fetal position. Duh!

I hope that you’ve been pleasurized!
