I don't get it....Here's the deal. I got scheduled to work at 5 am at the pool. I'm supposed to be "opening" it (i.e. get the bleachers down, turn the ventilation on, play some music and of course the lights). The part that I don't get is...why am I opening the pool at 5 when it isn't open to users till' 9 am. I'm surprised no one has brought this to the admin dept....I'll be the first and hopefully create history.

I'm gonna get some shut eye before pointlessly waking up at 4.30am. Hopefully.

P.S. Artic Monkeys rock!Edgar Limhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10154608264696891591noreply@blogger.com8tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31335740.post-84481745790022318852007-04-28T23:27:00.000-07:002007-04-28T23:44:52.424-07:00WTF happened to Avril?

Have any of ya'll heard Avril's latest album - The Best Damn Thing? If not, DON'T, unless you have absolutely nothing better to do with your precious time. It's sad to see what marriage did to her musical talent. I don't mean to sound ice cold but the only song on that album which seemed worth listening to is Keep Holding On. The rest are plain childish/pop/immature poppycock.

Anyways, I just got back from the formal I was talking about and it was awesome. We had kebabs, quesadillas, mac n cheese, and choc. fondue just to name a few. Danced like no tomorrow after a satisfying dinner and had a blast. There's nothing better than seeing everyone going crazy and putting self-consciousness aside.

Morgan n meEdgar Limhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10154608264696891591noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31335740.post-84255188981591419972007-04-24T21:52:00.000-07:002007-04-24T22:15:21.761-07:00MUSE!!!!!

I just got back from a MUSE concert - a 40-minute long orgasm. Unfortunately, they were headlining for MCR and not vice versa. FCUK!!! But anyways, it was feckin' awesome to say the least. It is definitely one of those things you gotta do before you die (attend a MUSE concert). Their live performance are infinitely better than any other artists I've seen. The vocals and instruments sounded almost like the CD, if not better (they were definitely not lip-syncing). The lighting effects was sync so perfectly with the beats of the songs. I couldn't and wouldn't dare ask for a better gig.

As I see it, the world is now divided into 2 main factions.....MUSE fans and non-MUSE fans.

Edgar Limhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10154608264696891591noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31335740.post-85843551068424409782007-04-23T19:19:00.000-07:002007-04-23T19:42:01.450-07:00.....flashnews....I don't know about you but it sounds like good news to me....some girl I met on the New Orleans trip invited me to her sorority's formal. It was a long ass bus ride but we made it. Took us about 9 hours in total but frankly, anything longer than 5 hrs doesn't make much of a difference. It's still in the 'where's-my--legs' category.

NO was awesome! We had a blast building the playground and clearing up dilapidated houses... to be precise, crap. It was sad and fun at the same time. To see all the houses in such a shape and to be able to help those who need it. Anyways, I've posted the pics up here.

Check this video out before you leave.

PeaceEdgar Limhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10154608264696891591noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31335740.post-17541770787105891662007-04-04T19:21:00.000-07:002007-04-04T20:05:53.175-07:00PhilanthropyBonjour! How you guys doing? Does philanthropy sound familiar to you? It didn't until I came to GT. It's basically community service and it's what people do to feel good about themselves. But there some who do it for the sole purpose of helping others and do not brag or feel proud about their deeds. Like me ... =).... even though I'm blogging about it. I'll be going to New Orleans this weekend for a trip organized by GT to help build a playground for the kids affected by that disastrous hurricane.

I was surprised when I found out how big philanthropy is here in America. The frats and the sororities create alot of opportunities for their members to perform such noble acts.

I'm definitely looking forward to my trip this weekend. Besides building a playground, we are going to be visiting French Quarter (a place rich in New Orlean's history and culture), participating in a cook out, and joining an easter egg hunt. Will be taking a shitload of photographs and they will be posted on Photobucket by Sunday. Hopefully.

For more info, click here

-out-Edgar Limhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10154608264696891591noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31335740.post-31768896190377977462007-03-24T11:44:00.000-07:002007-03-24T14:58:13.799-07:00Land of the dogs that were let out and sang about!Miss me? Even if you don't I miss ya'll. I would like to apologize for the month long hiatus as I've been as busy as scientists trying to cure cancer. In case you haven't been told, I recently went to Bahamas for my much deserved (in my opinion but may not be the truth), and much needed Spring Break.

I spent about 5 days there doing all the shit Spring Breakers do. Smoked, drank, ate good food, partied, etc. The island that I went to is Nassau and it's the biggest island in the Bahamas with about 200k ppl out of the overall population of 300k. Stayed at this cheap ass motel for 20 bucks as we were willing to compromise comfort for alcohol, cigars, and parties. There are alot of clubs in the Bahamas and the more well-known ones are Cocktails n Dreams, Senor Frog, Waterloo, and Charlie's. Went to all of them but Charlie's. Covers are 10 bucks, affordable.

I have to say that I didn't enjoy myself at the clubs at all. There were girls going wild and wet t-shirt contests. It totally degrades the fairer sex and self-respect is down the drain. Isn't it amusing that the more develop a country is, the more immorality reigns. Sigh! I wish I could talk to each of them on a personal level and educate them about self-value. But then again, we can't always get what we want.

FYI, Bacardi is made in Bahamas and they have tours of the plant but somehow we just didn't plan to go for it. Rum is their unofficial national drink and they come in all flavors. We tried some Mango Rum and it was awesome to say the least. A 740mL bottle will set you back a meagre 8 USD. I felt really "erotic" when I had fire in the hole. What a great sales gimmick.

Alcohol is sold everywhere on the streets. Duty free shops, roadside stalls, and even under women's skirts. It's an alcoholic's paradise. If you aren't when you visit, you will be if you stay long enough. Cuban cigars are available in abundance. I don't know how much it usually costs but I bought 2 for 10 bucks. They were selling purple haze (slang for weed) but I didn't really want to spend 60 USD just to get a fix. I visited the straw market - where handicrafts made from straw, obviously, are sold - and to my surprise, most of the products there were made in China. If you want authentic Bahamian handmade straw products you have to ask for them. I find such a brainless fact hard to beat. Even immaculate conceptions sound more logical.

Some of the local delicacies include conch (pronounced konk) salad, conch fritters (my favorite), conch chowder, grilled crack conch, turtle steak (didn't try) and guava duff (a local dessert which has a very strong cinnamon taste) .

Conch is a type of shellfish which is tasteless and it's texture is similar to calamari. It has a mild fishy odor and isn't very tasty on its own. It is believed to increase one's libido and I ate a shitload of em' but didn't feel horny at all. Maybe because my libido is at it's maximum level.

All in all, Bahamas is a great place to chill and take your mind of work and your worldly problems. I definitely want to revisit that place and maybe even buy a house there in the future.
Anyways, I've posted all my pics on Photobucket. Just follow this link to see them.

Toodles!Edgar Limhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10154608264696891591noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31335740.post-21352517342741681482007-02-21T20:29:00.000-08:002007-02-21T20:34:05.457-08:00U La LaThe author of this blog will be returning to Malaysia - the land of mamaks and great beaches - in May. Went to Beech Mountain, North Carolina for snowboarding the past weekend. Was supposed to study for a test on Monday but decided that opportunities like that don't come often. It was #$%^&*(*&^%$#@#$%^ worth it. Even though I fell down, on my tail bone and on my front, a gazillion times, I kept bringing myself up and going at it again. Some facts about snowboarding/skiing in general:

1. There are 3 types of courses, green, blue and black diamond. They represent the difficulty of each course in that order.

2. Fake snow suck big time dick coz it's grainier and it's compact. So when you fall, it's like being face planted on concrete. Real authentic God made snow is powdery and it cushions your fall.

3. It costs about 100 USD per day, to ski/board. It includes rentals and lift cost.

4. It's damn fun and you should stick a cactus up your ass if you do get a chance and pass.

Behold the power of the testicles!

In case you're not good enugh of a friend to recognize me, I'm the 3rd from right.

Weneu, Gopi, and the author.

Will be posting up the rest soon on Photobucket.

Cheers! I would like to enquire about the latest happenings in your life. I've been busier than Hugh Hefner is counting his Viagra stock. School work, a mini-project, and a lifeguard job aren't exactly something an average Joe can juggle without using up a great deal of his time. Jaded you might ask. I'm afraid I have to say no. I've been working out everyday lately and it really helps to revitalize and rejuvenate me. Needless to say, you should too. I'm saying this because I care for your health which directly affects your wellbeing. Happy and healthy friends = Happy Edgar!
Will be posting more often next week onwards when I've gotten used to multitasking.

Anyways, my b'day celebration wasn't half bad. Stew was good. Pasta was good. Drinks were better. Easily drank 2 cans of beer and 1 bottle of wine myself. Pass out I didn't though. I was hanging in there as high as a teenager on helium. Alcohol really talks but I assure you that I wasn't talking cock. Nothing but sense. =D

On a different note, it is highly unlikely that I will be getting an internship in Summer and I guess that translates into me going back. Anyways, as some of you all have heard, I'm underwent 4 gruesome days of lifeguard training and it's like 6 hours straight a day. It includes victim extrication, CPR and first aid. Nothing unexpected I would say. Anyways, the good news is I passed the test and I'm now a fully-certified lifeguard. =) However, here's the catch, I charge victims after I've saved their lives which is a minimum of 100 USD. Nothing is free in this world except farting. That was what my primary school teacher told us. "Takde apa yang free selain kentut."

I get paid about 8 USD an hour and we work for about 10 hours per week. I'm not complaining about the pay but I wish it was 20. So that I can belanja all my good friends/family members a better meal when I go back. =D There are some parts of the job that I just love. We are required to attend workouts twice a week and the best part is we get paid at the same rate for it. How nice is that? Getting paid to get fit. Now that's what I call an incentive.

That's about it for this episode. We are moving into the new house, which happens to not have a gas meter installed, this Saturday. So I called up the gas company on Monday to get them to install the meter. Since no one will be there, we decided to leave the door unlocked so that they can go in and do their stuff. Unfortunately, some fatherless son whom I think was hired to clean the place locked the door on the way out. Hence, the impossibility of the gas ppl to install the meter. I called them ASAP and try to reschedule the installment. And....here's the good news...the next available slot is next Thursday. Here's more good news, my apartment lease ends tomorrow so I'm forced to move tomorrow.

Anyone who is kind enough to invite me to stay with them?Edgar Limhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10154608264696891591noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31335740.post-67049411939627126162007-01-11T13:05:00.000-08:002007-01-11T14:10:01.733-08:00|Corteo|Good night! How's your day? Anyways, how many of you have been to a circus? Royal London Circus is probably one of the most popular and probably the only one who have grazed the Bolehland. The word circus probably doesn't appeal to you as much now compared to when you were still masturbating to non-nude girls in bikinis. Not that I'm implying anything.

Enough crap. I would now like to recommend something which is probably under the 'Things you must do before you're 12 feet under' category. I went for Cirque Du Soleil (surk du sor-ley) last month when they were in Atlanta, they still are actually. Impressive? Jaw dropping? Brings out the kid in you? Magnificent? I'm afraid I have to answer YES to all of those questions.

Cirque Du Soleil has a few shows going on simultaneously around the world and the only way they achieve it is by having a few troupes. Each show around the world is different. From the theme to the performers and the performance which seem so effortlessly performed. The show that I went for is Corteo which means cortège in Italian. They currently have shows in Las Vegas (Mystere) , Auckland (Varekai) and Barcelona (Alegria) just to name a few. About 12 shows are currently being performed around the world.

Corteo is about a festive parade imagined by a clown.

"The show brings together the passion of the actor with the grace and power of the acrobat to plunge the audience into a theatrical world of fun, comedy and spontaneity situated in a mysterious space between heaven and earth. The clown pictures his own funeral taking place in a carnival atmosphere, watched over by quietly caring angels. Juxtaposing the large with the small, the ridiculous with the tragic and the magic of perfection with the charm of imperfection, the show highlights the strength and fragility of the clown, as well as his wisdom and kindness, to illustrate the portion of humanity that is within each of us. The music, by turns lyrical and playful, carries Corteo through a timeless celebration in which illusion teases reality."

-Cirque Du Soleil

The Cirque Du Soleil isn't any ordinary circus with lions jumping over rings of fire, standing elephants, and motorcycles in a metal sphere trying to avoid clashing. Corteo, the show I went for, has never before seen performances like a person climbing a 2 story ladder and balancing himself on the top, a midget tied to a few big ass Helium balloons while floating among the audiences, a girl walking upside down on a tight-rope, etc. You have to see these to believe it unless of course you trust ever honest Edgar.

Though the tickets aren't exactly what is considered cheap in this world where cutting cost is heavily emphasized, it is worth every penny. I paid 70 USD for mine and the most expensive is approx. 200 USD called the Tapis Rouge which includes

Preferred seating

Reserved parking

Access to the Tapis Rouge suite via an exclusive entrance one hour before the show and during intermission

An array of mouth-watering hors d'oeuvres, fine wines* and refreshments followed by desserts during intermission

Unique multimedia entertainment and original music in a stunning décor with a relaxed atmosphere

A Tapis Rouge CD

A souvenir program

Priority purchasing of Cirque du Soleil merchandise in the Tapis Rouge boutique

Private restrooms, terrace and coat check service

I would have gotten that if my father owned MAS instead of being underpaid by it. Anyways, I went with some friends who came down from Indianapolis, Minnesota and Daytona Beach. Thanks for company guys/gal.

Good news! Have u even heard of it? FYI, its a damn MF good series alright. I know you already have a handful that you're trying to follow but this.....is worth it. The show revolves around this high school football team in Texas, the Dillon Panthers. It's filled with super chun chicks and some hunky guys, not that I'm interested. It brings you on a emotional roller coaster and gives you an insight into how small town Americans live and how big football is to them.

I just read about something which is super sorhai. There's this guy named Mario Visnjic from Croatia and when he took a naked dip in the cool sea, his testicles naturally shrank. Afterward, he sat in a wooden chair to bask in the sun. Unfortunately, his testicles slipped through the slats, then returned to normal size, trapping him. Rescuers ended up sawing the chair in half.

What a way to start a new year!

Ciao!Edgar Limhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10154608264696891591noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31335740.post-52486513660578424452007-01-02T23:43:00.000-08:002007-01-03T00:42:22.588-08:00New Year Happy I want to wish youOla!

I know you've been hearing this for a million times but for formalities, Happy Fucking New Year! How I wish my year could really be a good one with just wishes.

[Jan 26]

How were your celebrations? At home? At the club? In Bukit Bintang? I had mine at Times Sq NYC. It was fucking awesome....to say the least. There were at least 30,000 people there and it was truly a sight to behold. The NYPD were cordoning off Time Square from 4 pm onwards and I arrived at around 7 which forced me to witness the celebration 10 mch streets away. It wasn't that bad since they had big screens set up.

There were a few big names who performed of which I only found out when they came on stage. Namely, Christina Aguilera, Chris Daughtry, MCR and P.O.D. Technically, I wasn't watching them live per se because I could only see them on the big screens. I couldn't even hear them from the stage speakers, only the ones near the screens. I was feeling 2 emotions at the same time. Something like, there's a girl on your bed fully naked and ready to make sweet love but during foreplay.... you came.

It was then time for the highly anticipated countdown.

3

2

1

BANG! -> fireworks
SWOOSH! -> the crystal ball drop
ROAR! -> the crowd
Auld Lang Syne
Imagine -> John Lennon

[Jan 26]

That pretty much summed up my nye's celebration. Don't forget to tell me about yours.

New York is a beautiful, vibrant, and diverse city. From all the places that I've visited so far in my not very long life, NYC is the best. It wins the others hands down. NYC will always have a special place in my heart and I can now truly understand why the I LUV NY shirt is so damn famous. There's so much to love about it. To boot, it was cheap as well. They were selling it at 3 for 10 bucks.

I had a shit load of hotdogs and kebab-on-a-sticks during my 5 day trip. Sabrett hotdogs is to NY as what Ramly Burger is to KL. There were street peddlers all over the city and it reminded me so much of the ever popular and dependable hawkers in Malaysia.

[Jan 26]

We actually stayed in a hotel in New Jersey because it is much cheaper. By how much? I don't know because we left the organizing to Ding. Unfortunately, we had to discover that saving that money wasn't worth it because we had to travel fucking 4 1/2 diu hai hours daily to and from Manhattan. As a result, I only had approx. 4 hours of sleep daily. Zombie? Definitely, if not for the fact that NYC is such a fucking ON place. The sights and sounds were somehow invigorating and adrenaline inducing.

Oh yeah, did I mention that I met Angelina Jolie, Paris Hilton and George Bush? It was fucking awesome and I totally didn't expect to see them there. It was like a celebrity party. Btw, did I mention that they were all made of wax? I did some fucked up poses and I sure as hell had the upper hand of disgracing them.

The other things I did there was:

Shopped a little bit in SOHO (the shopping district of NYC). Ate some orgasmic food at Little Italia. Saw Ms. Liberty. Went up the Empire State. Watched a stand-up comedy at Laugh Factory. Clubbing at Webster's Hall and saw Cascada perform. Walked Central Park. Ate Gray's Papaya dogs (the best dogs in NYC) and drank papaya juice (it's not as gross as it sounds, thrust me).

That's basically it. Enough said about NY. I'll be moving to 4 bedroom house in the mid of this month and I'll keep you updated of my address so that you can send me 'things.' Had a good break to say the least and can't hardly wait for the semester to start. I'll announce it when I've uploaded all my pics to Photobucket.

xoxoXOXOxOxOEdgar Limhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10154608264696891591noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31335740.post-194671515621401882006-12-07T14:03:00.000-08:002006-12-07T14:29:39.878-08:00Finale!My finals will be in about a week's time and here I am utilizing my precious time blogging and practicing poker for 2moro's competition. Isn't it great? I'm sure my parents will be glad and euphoric to hear that. I actually had an epiphany a few days ago. I'm not disputing the fact that GT is a tough school but things you hear about it (i.e. it's a good school, it's very very tough, the workload is as heavy as yo' mama..bla bla bla... ) makes it tougher than it actually is. Don't you think? It kinda has a psychological effect and you get conditioned into thinking that it really IS hard but it really isn't as hard as you think it is. The workload and the standards are definitely higher than other universities around but aren't we humans naturally gifted with the ability to adapt and survive. We've actually proven that we can in the past. Take the Economic Depression of 1998 in M'sia for instance. We were so afraid of the inflation and whether our dad would come back at night with bad news. But....we pulled through.

So, what I've come to learn is to trick my mind into thinking that education here in GT isn't really as hard as many think and make others to feel the same. All said and done, I just can't hardly wait til' next Thurs which is my last day of the Finals. That day will go down in history as the day when Edgar morphs into the Devil.

Edgar Limhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10154608264696891591noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31335740.post-35879098318399581572006-11-30T23:16:00.000-08:002006-11-30T23:51:01.830-08:00Texas Hold'emTexas Hold'em? Interested anyone? We'll, I am. I've been playing it for a while and an opportunity to show the world what a great player I am arose. There was a Residence Hall Series of Poker tourney today and I was among the many others who are (to me) just wasting their time because I'm destined to win. =D

It was free to join and so there were about 200 students who participated. We each received 1000 bucks worth of chips and it begun. The historical event ended pretty early for me though. I was just cocking you in the first paragraph. You should have known. It's Edgar.

Because my wallet's thickness wasn't on the line, I was a big big risk taker. Raising the bets like nobody's business. I was calling bluffs as often as you blink. Blind readers are an exception. As a result, I was out the door in 30 mins. Not too bad considering this is my first tourney. But not too worry coz' there's another one next Fri. Which happens to be 3 days before my finals. =D I'm playing next Fri not because the Finals aren't a beef but because I've developed a great passion for this game of Hold'em. I vow to sacrifice masturbation to make up the time for revision.

That said, I will now proceed to brag about my new digital cam. =D It's a Kodak V570 and the retail price is 300 USD. I got a deal online for 211 bucks. Pretty sweet deal ain't it? It happens to be the first digi cam in the world with dual lens technology. An ultra wide-angle lens and a telephoto one. Forgive the jargon. I have been eying it since it was launched in Jan this year. Just to set the facts straight, I bought it because my old camera was a piece of used condom and not because I'm totally in love with the dual-lens or the 2.5 inch LCD. Please believe me! I'm a reasonable and rational person as you all know so so well.

Here's a pic of it. You can drool all you want for as long as you don't flood your keyboard bad enough to the point where you can't leave a comment.

Btw, that's me (I'm trying to put on a new look) and my gf, Valencia Crosatti.

Ok, I gotta go ...

mum n dad's version : study hard now and sleep early and eat healthy and drink alot of water.
relatives and friend's version : practice and sharpen my Hold'em skills.

SayonaraEdgar Limhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10154608264696891591noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31335740.post-57054200692418454842006-11-27T00:34:00.000-08:002006-11-27T00:52:10.296-08:00The World of Coca-ColaDo you like Coke? My fav is Diet Coke Lime. Its ze best. I visited the World of Coke which happens to be half a stone's throw away from where I live. It's so weird that people normally travel far and wide to visit new places but they prolly haven't been to 1/2 of the attractions around them. Sometimes, we're so busy searching and looking for something or someone special when in fact, it/they might be so close to us. I'm I right? No? Anyways, here are some facts about Coke which surprised me.

1) It was invented in 1886 by Dr. Pemberton, who sold it to a Jacobs Pharmacy. Yes, a pharmacy! They served their customers to satisfy their thirst.

2) Back then, they were selling for 5 cents a glass. And it maintained at that price for 70 years. Was inflation even coined?

3) They had Cherry, Strawberry and Vanilla flavors even in those days.

4) Coke is distributed not in the form you get at the counter but in a syrup form and they were transported in red barrels with a Coca-cola signature.

5) There were Coke pirates even in those days and the only one I can remember was Koka-Kola. LOL. So I guess DVD peddlers in the night markets are steep in history.

6) The contour of the bottle was invented to differentiate the original Coke from the pirates.

Basically that's about it. Oh yeah, they have this place in the building where soft drinks from all over the world are served. They have drinks from Timbuktu all the way to Israel. It was a good experience to say the least. But I was a lil' disappointed that they didn't have Kickapoo.

Here are the other ppl i went with. So it was Thanksgiving y'day and we had a pot luck yesterday. We had turkey, honey ham, chic quiche (which was lovely to say the least) and korean seasoned spinach. I know the last dish doesn't really fit the puzzle but we needed some fiber in our diet and that was the only green leafy thing we had in the fridge.

After dinner, we sat around thinking of what to entertain ourselves with and friend A suggested that we go to a premium factory outlet for their Black Friday sale. It starts at 12 midnight and ends at 11 am. Friend B, C, D, E and me agreed in an instant shorter than it took for Ding to ejaculate. The weather in Atlanta wasn't too cold but one hour away up north (the outlet) was freaking cold and all I had on was a long sleeve shirt. My testicals were clinking the whole time I was shopping. However, that wasn't enough to deter this steel-hearted warrior from braving the cold and going forth to clear the racks and empty his money holding pouch.

We shopped for about 5 hours but 3/4 of the time was spent waiting in the **********ing long queues. I've never seen so many people eagerly waiting to decrease the values of their bank accounts. This is the epitome of the Black Friday Sales Syndrome.

I could have spent my next semester tuition fees on one night but my better and more rationale half was on duty last night. I didn't clear the racks as I intended to earlier and instead bought a pair of Aviators, a messenger from CK and some shorts. Who wants to see me in my Aviators? You can request for it thru MSN or email me at guitarian2k4@gmail.com. I'm doing this only to ensure that the picture is exclusive and to increase the intrinsic value of it. I apologize for the inconvenience caused.

Till next time, guys, remember to be faithful to your partners and girls, don't forget to douche yourself.

-END-Edgar Limhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10154608264696891591noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31335740.post-1164006704984039672006-11-19T22:31:00.000-08:002006-11-19T23:11:44.993-08:00Football?Hey people...how's life? I know I haven't been posting for so long you've probably forgotten what my name is. I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere apologies. I vow to post whenever I'm free.

So anyways, I now truly appreciate my Vios in Klang. I miss it so much I would swim across the Atlantic Ocean, run across Africa and take my chances of getting caught by Indonesian Border Patrol just to feel its steering wheel again. Just to step on its hard pedals. Just to pull its long e-brake handle. I'm like limited to going to places I can reach only by train or by foot. Whatever that's left of it since I've been walking more than Yuan YuFang for the past months.

I'm trying my best to have as much fun as I can on weekends without a car. Thank Buddha that there are a few clubs walking distance away from GT. I went to this one called Loca Luna last Friday. It was a Latin club and the live band was playing latino songs (of course). It was voted as one of the 'Top Ten Latin Clubs in America' and the cover is only 5 bucks. Lol. Unfortunately most of the crowd were middle aged men and women. I even saw a guy who could be my dead granpa. He had like white beard and shit and looked like Santa's wannabe. But there were a few hot mamacitas who were not too bad looking. I knew they were young because they had X marks on their hands. The clubs here allow ppl 18 yrs or older to get in but 21 to buy drinks. So what they do if you're > 18 & < 21 is they use a regular marker to place big 'hey look, i'm underaged' X marks on your hand. Unfortunately they can't outsmart the great Edgar who goes to the toilet and erases em' the minute he gets into the club.

On Saturday, I went to GT's last Football home game. Football is big here. Just like how soccer is to Europeans. Families would travel for hours just to come and support their teams. And when I say families, I mean children, parents and even grandparents who can hardly stand and probably need 3 pairs of glasses to see the players. But I guess that's all part of the spirit. Our team is ranked 23rd in the nation. Not too bad for a country with 1000 universities. (Mayb more)

Oh yeah, I forgotten to mention that I'm in GT's Basketball's SWARM. One of the perks of being a member is the opportunity to sit on the court at the games. All for only 20 bucks a season. =) Trust me, it means the world to a guy who loves basketball to have court side seats. I've been going for almost every home game since the season started.

Btw, do you guys know about (RED)? It's a campaign to eliminate AIDS in Africa. There are a few companies who are supporting this campaign and are allocating some of their profits towards helping those ppl in need. Visit this website if you have the time.

Out.Edgar Limhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10154608264696891591noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31335740.post-1161236905046588762006-10-18T22:42:00.000-07:002006-10-18T22:48:25.053-07:00Seriously Chronically OccupiedHey peeps, sorry for the unprecedented hiatus. I just came back from Washington DC on Monday. It was great except for the fact that we didn't have much time explore the city. We spent most of our time visiting Monuments, Memorials and Museums. It was educational but I wished we could have more time to check out highly recommended restaurants and cool places. I'm actually squeezing in this post between homeworks. =( Please accept my apologies. All the pictures I took in Wash. is here:-

http://s143.photobucket.com/albums/r156/guitarian2k4/

Enjoy!

-Out-Edgar Limhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10154608264696891591noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31335740.post-1160021754681870252006-10-04T20:56:00.000-07:002006-10-04T21:15:54.770-07:00men looking for menHello living orgasms! sorry...i meant organisms. Anyways, how many of you are homophobic? For those who don't know wtf that means but nod anyways to shield their ignorance, its people who have a phobia of homosexuals. I'm proud to say that I'm not because I understand that homos are homos not by choice but because of 'natural forces.' In short, they are born like that. Karma some might say.

In relation to what I've just said, do you know about Coming Out Weeks? or COW for short. =) GT just had it like today and it was damn ON. LOL....I've never seen people who have 'different' preferences so open about it before. They even have a website.

www.gtcow.gatech.edu

ATL-outEdgar Limhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10154608264696891591noreply@blogger.com4
